As buildings are sided, any rot to the interior sheathing is being repaired, new building wrap is being applied and ice and water dam protection is being installed on the roofs. Several details are being worked out to the end that we make sure we take full advantage of this opportunity to make Rolling Oaks the best it can be for the entire Rolling Oaks community. Thank you for your support! The approval of the owners has made this fantastic improvement to our community possible.
We ask the patience of all owners and residents as work progresses. Note that some work remains to be done on buildings that have been sided. This includes painting work and installation of privacy walls for units that have them. Owners must be sure not to do any work that affects the exterior of the buildings that have been sided without seeking prior approval from the Board. See the vinyl siding page for more details.
Painters are at work painting garage doors and side lights to the front doors that were previously almond. The paint they are using has been matched to the color of the existing trim.
Owners will be contacted before siding work begins. Windows and doors are generally installed the week prior to the week that the siding work is scheduled to commence.
Many factors affect the order in which buildings are being sided. The time it takes to side a building is affected by weather conditions, the amount of repair that is required, and whether or not Capitol Siding is installing windows and/or doors and the availability of materials as well as the condition of the buildings. Please contact the Property Manager to let us know times when this installation will be difficult for you to assist us with the scheduling process.
Also be sure to let the Property Manager know if you have any outstanding repair issues such as leaks prior to the time that your home is sided so these issues can be addressed.
Visit the Vinyl Siding page for more details and contact information for Capitol Siding.
